Chris Powell


View Bio: Chris Powell

Chris Powell, Aspenti Health CEO has over 30 years of healthcare experience. Chris started his career with IBM as a field sales professional before moving to IDX Systems Corporation, a healthcare technology company leading the sales and marketing function. IDX was acquired by GE Healthcare in 2006 and Mr. Powell worked as Vice President and General Manager of GE Healthcare Americas Commercial Healthcare IT business, including the United States, Canada and Central and South America. Mr. Powell left GE in 2011 and went on to become CEO at Precyse. Under Chris’ leadership and growth, Precyse was acquired to form nThrive, a healthcare revenue cycle and service company company before coming to Aspenti Health.  A graduate of Colby College in Waterville, Maine, Mr. Powell holds a B.S. degree in Psychology.

Jill Warrington

Chief Medical Officer

View Bio: Jill Warrington

Jill Warrington MD, PhD and Aspenti Health Chief Medical Officer has been contributing to the fields of laboratory research and medicine for 25 years. Dr. Warrington earned her MD/PhD degree at Tufts University School of Medicine with her dissertation in Pharmacology. She then obtained her Anatomical and Clinical Pathology training at Duke University School of Medicine, then joined the Robert Larner School of Medicine at the University of Vermont in 2009 where she serves as an assistant professor focusing on substance use disorders. Dr. Warrington is passionate about the role that laboratories can play in optimizing clinical decision making and supporting clinical workflows. Her key areas of interest include driving appropriate utilization of testing services, integrating health analytics to inform care, and reducing administrative burden through automation of unnecessary operational steps.

Cherian Philip

Cherian Philip is a seasoned financial leader with over 13 years of Healthcare experience.  Cherian started his career in the financial/banking industry before moving to GE Healthcare IT business.  He held various leadership positions at GEHC IT including the Commercial Finance manager for United States and Canada.  Mr. Philip left GE in 2013 and worked as the Vice President of Finance for Data Innovations, the leader in laboratory middleware. A graduate of University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, Mr. Philip holds a B.S. degree in Finance.  Mr. Philip also serves on the Board of Directors for Make-A-Wish Vermont.

Vanessa Clark

SVP of Operations

Vanessa Clark has spent the past 20 years at the intersection of technology and operations while leading teams in both the private and public sector. Vanessa spent several years as a member of the senior leadership team at the software development firm MyWebGrocer where she was accountable for their development operations and client care division. Her previous experience also includes strategy and planning, business intelligence, and operations leadership while working for New Breed Marketing, the State of Vermont, and US Senator Patrick Leahy. Vanessa is a graduate of the University of Vermont, she holds a B.S. degree in Environmental Science.

Katrina Horton

Karina Horton

VP of Patient and Revenue Cycle Operations

Karina Horton is a patient centered leader with over 20 years of healthcare operations and revenue cycle success.  Karina began in private practice, managing the growth of various specialty provider offices before joining administration at Lexington Medical Center Physician Practices and then UVM Medical Center Physician Network.  Her work leading acquisitions, implementations, conversions and operationalizing accounts receivables supports the continued growth and development of Aspenti services.  A graduate of Cornell University, Karina pursued advanced coursework in medical science focusing on excellent patient care and improving clinical outcomes.
